With a NW and SW facing coastline Taghazout is blessed with countless surf options what ever the conditions, so most of the time there is always somewhere to surf in this area. During the summer months (April – October) we receive small to medium swells with surfing mostly taking place on the beaches and reefs on the more exposed north west coast. These are good conditions for anyone looking to surf in less crowded warm water.
With the proper swell hitting our shores during the winter months ( October – March), the magical waves that Morocco is known for give us ample opportunities to ride long and hard. This is when popular surf spots of Taghazout like Anchor Point are pumping waves with experienced surfers and Pros arriving from all around the world to show off their surf skills!
