  The most beautiful vacation
It was a fantastic experience that I would recommend to anyone. The hotel has characteristic local features and is managed in an excellent manner regarding meals, cleanliness, and the alternatives offered (swimming pool available with a large relaxation room, large well-equipped rooftop). The employees and staff are golden people, always willing to help and make you feel at ease. The surf instructors, too, are very good people who will make you try a unique experience.   Truly perfect just as I wanted it.
I had a very beautiful experience at this surf camp. Everything was very well organized. The meals are extremely hearty and delicious. Everything was set up so that I would have a superb experience. I went there with my family twice already. If you are looking for a real and local surf experience in Morocco, Tagazhout Waves is made up for you. You will surf in beaituful spot followed by responbile and attentive surf instructors according to all surf levels. The hotel has all you need and the atmosphere is unique: the team of the hotel and the presence of all the guests coming from all over the world, will make your experience there special. Excellent location, 10 minutes from the surf spots, cheerful and convivial atmosphere, you immediately feel like you are with people you have known for a lifetime.   Such a fun week !

  Amazing surf holiday! 🌊🏄‍♀️
We had an absolutely amazing time! The instructor team is super friendly, professional and supportive. We finally feel like we are really improving with our surfing! They took us every day to the best spots and managed to find great waves even in August, which can be challenging. The wetsuits were perfect, and the whole team was incredibly helpful. I’m vegan, and they made a real effort to prepare something different for me every day. They even helped us find a new flight when we accidentally booked the wrong one — even very late at night! We also had great experiences together, like visiting the local market and Paradise Bay. The accommodation has everything you need: nice rooms with air conditioning, a swimming pool, billiards, foosball and lots of games. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. A truly perfect surf holiday — we would definitely come back! 🏄‍♀️🙏🌊

It was an incredible experience – I wholeheartedly recommend it!!! After just a few days, I felt right at home there. The atmosphere is very family-like, and the staff is incredibly warm and helpful. After a week, you know everyone, and guests are treated like family. The owner is a wonderful person – open, communicative, and very committed. It's clear he truly cares about the comfort and satisfaction of his guests, is open to suggestions, and personally attends to every detail. We took the all-inclusive package – it's very well thought out – it includes accommodation, meals, surfing, yoga, and visits to local attractions. The hotel rooms are clean, well-maintained, and serviced daily. The food is local, fresh, and delicious – a great way to experience Moroccan cuisine. A huge plus is the location – close to the beach, and right next to it is a street lined with local shops. It's far from touristy areas, so if you prefer, that was a plus for us because we could see real local life, and the prices in the shops were much lower. The surfing conditions are ideal for both beginners and more advanced surfers. The instructors are very patient, professional, and it's easy to communicate with them in English. I really hope to return next year, because Morocco and the place have completely enchanted me. If anyone is still wondering whether to try surfing there, I recommend hunting down good flights and taking one without a second thought. It's a great opportunity to meet wonderful people from all over the world, try something new, and experience a different culture. I definitely recommend it!

We had an excellent stay at the hotel, in an incredible setting not far from the surf beaches. 🏄🏄🏄 The surf instructors are super friendly and welcoming!! Traditional meals are served in generous portions, and all the staff are kind and always there for you. I highly recommend it 🤙 Choukrane!!!

Amazing experience at Taghazout Waves Surf Camp! Everything was perfectly organized from the moment we arrived. The team takes care of everything, so you can just relax and enjoy your stay. It’s the perfect place to surf and enjoy the Moroccan vibe. The atmosphere is friendly, warm, and very welcoming. The surf lessons were excellent. The instructors are really professional, patient, and motivating. Special thanks to Yassine and Mohammed — they are truly the best! I had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The meals were delicious and always well prepared. The taxi service included was very convenient and made everything easy for me. The service was outstanding, truly above expectations. I had a fantastic week! The service was excellent, the staff very friendly, and the food was delicious and varied. The bed was also comfortable and had a view of the pool. We had some great outings, yoga classes were also optional. It was my first time surfing and learned it in the first days. I would recommend this experience to everyone. Currency exchange was available next to our accommodation and across from a laundromat and pharmacy. Shops are less than a two-minute walk away. Everything is nearby! I was able to meet wonderful people from all over the world. Thanks to Abdelah, who always responded quickly and helpfully. I will definitely be back soon!

I had an amazing time at Taghazout Waves! The vibes, staff, food, and especially the location were so good that I didn't want to leave at the end of my stay. The surf instructors were incredibly friendly, patient, and always ready to correct your form and provide tips to help you become more independent. You absolutely have to try surfing during the sunset session-the view is breathtaking! I'll definitely be back soon!

Perfect location for a surf camp. Right on the beach. Many other surfing areas were visited in a new sprinter/bus. Food was 10 out of 10 every day. Absolute recommendation. Waves and surf instructors also great. Suits and equipment top.

That's right, Tagazouth waves is a place you never want to leave. Oh no, not only because you are in Morocco on holiday but because you feel at home straight away. I stayed for 8 days with the full pack and I couldn't choose a better place: relaxed but also energetic atmosphere, hospitality and professionalism of the hosts, Moroccan authenticity and union with the wonderful people I met. But the thing that struck me is the humanity of the staff and hosts: Abdu, Amine, Asmae, Ayoub, Elou, the wonderful Ryan and Marianne and the rest of the staff made us feel at home and as if we were a family and this is priceless. The surf lessons are held by instructors who convey the passion and joy of riding the waves, encouraging each day and following each of us in a personalized way during the session. Thanks to the strategic position of the surfhouse it is possible to reach the spot on foot (which is rare) which offers fantastic waves for both beginners and intermediates. Travel to other nearby spots are well organised, as are the other experiences offered by the surfhouse. Another strong point is certainly the delicious food which guaranteed an authentic experience of the flavors of Morocco to be enjoyed on the beach after the session or in the fantastic Moroccan style room. The rooms are clean and in general the rooms are perfectly maintained. Furthermore, any need is treated perfectly so that you can have your stay as pleasant as possible: when we happened to be late for dinner, the hosts took care to guarantee us a fantastic meal, not to mention their availability to organize travel for us. extra trips compared to those already included in the package. I highly recommend this surfhouse to anyone who wants to experience an unforgettable holiday full of surfing, nature and good company. Thank you Tagazouth Waves❤️

My first ever stay at a surf camp and what a jackpot! Guys managed to create a friendly place no one can feel excluded, where everything is chill but, at the same time, well-organized. They can either leave your day to your own organization and liking or they can arrange it for you. But for sure they’ll feed you properly. I don’t remember why I chose them among others when doing my google research but I do not regret it at all and I will be coming back. Recommended to all age groups, I’ve met people in their young 20s, 30s and 40s, all equal to each other. +Superbly located, the beach is literally 20m from the door.

This is an amazing place: delicious food, spacious and clean dorm rooms, very cozy common room and terrace overlooking the ocean and the best part: it's only 50 meters away from the beach, a few surfing spots are within a walking distance, so you can do the morning surf, sunset surf, whatever you please! And it is so easy to watch the sunsets from there, drinking the Moroccan tea, to me it is the definition of "vacation chill". The hosts are very helpful and nice, they will make sure you are not stressed out about anything during your stay - be it printing your boarding pass, transport to souk, basically helping you with anything. The area is safe, I walked alone at night on the beach or promenade many times, no issues, only a lot of dogs but it's my issue that I am not so comfortable with dogs ;)) I came here "by chance" last January and I liked it so much that I returned two more times in the following months. For first-time visitors I really recommend the all-inclusive package for a start as it also includes the airport transfer and some half-day trips, e.g. to the Paradise Valley or Souk in Agadir. This place is really something special!!! See you again in 2025!

Amazing experience at Taghazout Wave’s surf camp! Came with 6 other friends and we loved every single moment we’ve spent at this surf n’stay. The food was excellent, especially during Saturday’s barbecue party! Definitely would recommend any group of surfers or even just newbees (like us) to come and enjoy this phenomenal experience!!

With over 10 years of experience in surf coaching, our professionally qualified and experienced surf instructors can provide surf lessons for your surf level. We take no more than 8 students per group to ensure you are able to focus and have fun too. All equipment is provided by our surf camp – you just need to bring good vibes! Why choose Taghazout?

What used to be an unknown small fishing village, Taghazout is now a surfer’s dream destination. Why? Loads of awesome surf spots with consistent waves and really friendly locals sets makes Taghazout a really sought after destination for surf holidays in Morocco.

When is the best time to visit Taghazout

If you’re a beach lover, you can visit Taghazout any time, as it is blessed with sunny weather all year round. If you’re a beginner looking to learn surfing, you will easily find waves at one of the many surf spots in Taghazout. If you’re an intermediate or advanced surfer, then its better to visit between September and March. For more details check-out our Taghazout surf report.

How to reach Taghazout?

You can fly to Agadir Al Massira Airport, which is 45 minutes from our Taghazout surf camp. From there, you can take a taxi or we can arrange airport pick-up for you. If you are already in Morocco, then you can take a bus to Agadir City, which is 20 minutes.

Can surfers of any level join the surf lesson?

Depending on your surf level, the coach will tailor his coaching to suit your individual needs. Beginner and early intermediate surfers can be managed in small groups. More experienced or advanced surfers will not be included in beginner level surf lessons.

What is the surf lesson duration?

Each surf lesson is approximately 2 hours, supervised by the surf coach during the first session of the day. The second session of the day is free-surf time, but still under the surf coach’s observation.

How many persons join a group surf lesson?

Each surf lesson included a maximum of 8 surfers with similar surf levels to ensure that the coaching is appropriate for all. More experienced surfers are put in different group assigned to a different coach.

What should I wear for a surf lesson?

Our Morocco surf camp team will provide a wetsuit for all your surf lessons. So you just need to bring comfortable swimwear that you can wear under the wetsuit. Rash-guard is also recommended in case you wish to surf without a wetsuit. Here’s a list of things to pack for your surf trip.

Do I need to bring my own surfboard for the lesson?

We will provide a surfboard for all your surf lessons. However, you can bring your own board if you have one.

What activities to do in Taghazout?

There are loads of activities you can enjoy in Taghazout. If you’re not keen to surf, you can enjoy the Skate park, ATV Quad bikes, Camel and Horse riding, or go for a short hike up the hill.
